Family and Community
One of the main concerns of the Misericórdia of Vila Real regards the support of families and the community to which the Institution itself belongs. In this sense, the Misericórdia offers Home Support and Integrated Home Care services, aimed at providing basic care to citizens who, for various reasons, are partially or totally dependent on others. The Misericórdia also has a Social Canteen which provides meals to those in need, besides providing social and psychological support.
