Day-care Centre
The Day-care Centre of the Misericórdia of Vila Real functions in the building of the Immaculate Conception Retirement Home, hosting, at present, eight users. It started its activities on October 1, 1987, with the aim of finding an alternative to fight the loneliness and isolation of the elderly, without them having to leave their homes in a definitive manner. This service provides recreational activities and a healthy living to the elderly, according to their needs and preferences.
