Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Vila Real Bylaws
After the nationalization of its Hospital in 1975, the Misericórdia of Vila Real eventually adopted the status of Private Social Solidarity Institution in 1985, allowing the Institution to devote to other assistance activities. In the scope of this new social and juridical framework, the Misericórdia of Vila Real, in 18 November 1992, drafted new Bylaws, published in the Portuguese Official Gazette No. 267, 3rd Series, under the title Compromisso da Irmandade da Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila Real, which is currently in force.
