Elderly
In order to support the elderly, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Vila Real has two retirement homes, one in Lordelo and another next to its headquarters in Vila Real downtown, which allow to welcome many senior citizens. The Misericórdia also offers a Day-care Centre, to support external users, also located in Lordelo, at the Quinta da Petisqueira.
