Leisure Activities Centre (1989)

The Leisure Activities Centre began operations on June 1, 1989, in a building of the Misericórdia located in Pioledo Square. It then supported 50 users, equally distributed in the morning and the afternoon periods. The Centre remained in this place until 1993, when it was transferred to the building of the former Divine Providence Hospital.

In 2008, the Centre was closed, since public schools began to absorb this type of activity, no longer providing support to private social solidarity institutions.
